(Zaydn sputters and trys to get up...)
Zaydn: "uuuuuuurrrrrrgggggg..... I feel like an old man... well... I AM 65 years old..."
(he slowly stands up, but his legs are unresponsive and falls... Yenra catches him with his snout...)
Yenra: "...careful... you don't want to tigger another siezure..."
(Zaydn slumps down against Yenra's belly)

(Yenra sniffs Eznier... then he turns and licks up the blood...)
Yenra: "There.... now he won't flip out... Is he alright...?"
Zaydn: "......uuuuurrrgg.... My back....."

Zaydn: "uuurrrggghhh.... thank you..." *he takes the cane and staggers up right... he hobbles forward carefully...*
(they head for the dining hall slowly...)

(Yenra curls up behind them & shuts his eyes. Zaydn looks haggard & worn out from the siezure... He sighs & you notice a row of shark-like teeth...)

(Zaydn only takes meat... he doesn't even touch bread or anything that isn't meat... he doesn't even take the wine...)

(Zaydn turns to looks at him...
he turns back & mutters...
Yenra picks his head up & looks at Felis... he rumbles & hisses...)
Zaydn: "...Hold your tongue Yenra... leave him be..."
*he is still turned away from Felis...*

(Zaydn sits by Yenra & watches... He has a scowl on his face... he mutters something dark & fierce...
Yenra watches also...)

Zaydn: "I am a nobody... pay no attention to me... no one ever did...
This is Yenra... something of a miracle... tiny runt into an over-sized Drake..."
(Yenra eyes Zaydn sadly...
Zaydn looks away...)

Zaydn: "I have a name... no one really remembers or cares though... I'm Zaydn... supposed son of a hero... Sometimes I just don't buy it though..."

Zaydn: "My dad's name was.... ummm... Yenra? What is my dad's name?"

Zaydn: "He was lost when I was very young... I can.t remember his face... whether or not he even liked me... I can remember my mother a little better... she had black hair, I think... I know she was a griffon rider... wait... I remember something else....." *gasp*
(his hollow eyes grow wide and startled suddenly)

Zaydn: "I just remembered something.... I remember waking up one morning... my father had already been lost by now... my mother is usually up before me so I went to her room when I noticed she wasn't up... She was lying in bed.... dead.... Her griffon and I.... we buried her that morning.... I-i.... I was six...."

Zaydn: "I don't know... no one knows... it's so hard for me to remember them or happy times... All I can remember is HATE...
'Son of a Hero, or son of a Zero?'
'You wanna ride? oops, my bad! Hahahaha!'
'heh... what if we cut the straps on his saddle? Do you think he'll fall? I hope he does... heh...'
'Why don't you just crawl away and die? Go feed the Crag Crawlers with your face, loser!'
'You're nothing, a nobody. This training is for people who will accually get somewhere in life, so get lost.'
'Heh... let's hide this lightning rod in his armor... I wanna see him get lit up!'
That is all I can seem to remember... I HATE people... I can only tolerate drakes..."

Zaydn: "They weren't human... They were Caelians. Even the only one who I looked up to left me...
Everyone was to be sent with a personal trainer. I was paired with the one who I kinda looked up to... he told me we were going to see the Dragons... After flying for hours on his Drake we came to a single crag... there was nothing else around execpt for a steep fall down... we landed... I asked about where they were, but when I turned around he & his drake were already taking off... leaving me... In the middle of nowhere with possible hungry Dragons lurking in the mist... It took me over a month to climb out of that area.... Because of people I've been struck by lightning, fallen to almost certain death, sha.ttered my back, been left in the wilderness, and worst of all: Treated like I don't even exist. If they even acknowledge my presense it's with insults & beatings. I HATE people. I almost can't even be around Drakes either, because they were often in on it, too... I hate my life. I hate the world..."
(looks away pointedly...)
Zaydn: "Because of people I have to endure this living he.ll... I've never wanted anything. The only reason I became a Drake Lord was to do something with my life... and maybe learn more of my father... but all it's ever gotten me is messed up back and dead eyes that everyone hates... I almost wish my father wasn't so selfless....."
*looks down sadly*

Zaydn: "...After 65 years, I still have nothing to show for... I don't really want friends... I'm done with people... I didn't even want to help you, Eznier... It was Yenra... Why should I help people's ugly fates if can't even do anything to help my own sorry self... From what I've been told, though, he would've help you even if he was cut in half and drenched in acid... Why did that have to happen....?"

Zaydn: "HA! I highly doubt it! No one would ever do anything FOR me! And even if they did it was always a trick! There is nothing you can do for me... Unless you could find my long-lost father, or stop my siezures. But you would have to be a miracle worker for either of those! My father has been missing for over 60 years, and my nerves are fried... There's nothing anyone can do for me anymore...."

(Yenra roars long & loudly at all of them.)
Yenra: "Don't you get it?! 'Friends' have brought us nothing but pain! And he said he can't remember happiness! I share his mind. He was telling the truth when he said he really can't remember anything good!"
Zaydn: "Shut-up, Yenra..."
(Yenra looks surprised & hurt by that...)
