I can draw people and animals just fine, but inanimate objects[especially furniture] and scenery backgrounds are challenging. It took 4 hours for me to draw a couch.
Point is, keep trying. Ask around for opinions [don't say 'look at my gallery'], or leave some nice feedback, and you will be noticed. Maybe not right away, but you will.

I looked, and liked too. I just don't always comment on people's art.
It takes time to be noticed, so hang in there.
