The best way to get a HUGE chunk of space is to delete Nintendo Video and it's extra storage. It'll most likely give you over 2,000 blocks of space.

@Darkblade I already did that, but about 10 paintings later, the SD card went "nope" and the end. Bye, memory. Anyway, I have another SD card I'm using now, so my problem ended as soon as it started (actually, I've been fighting a war with this damned thing for months, I'm so relieved I've found a solution, phew).
