Midnight: *they disappear into dense mystious fog*

Me: Alright cool.:D

Midnight: To my favorite hang out spot. It's a really pretty lake with a meadow next to it.

Midnight: "Reason being the artists can't follow us here." she said. She stepped out of the fog into a meadow overlooking a shining cystal clear lake, it's sandy bottom white.

Midnight: She follows him to the waters edge and takes off her boots and dangling her feet in the water.

Midnight: "Everything has an end, no matter how far, it'll always come to an end. Life, time, space. They're all con.nected by what lies at the end of them." she said looking over at him.

Midnight: She met his eyes her right eye hidden by hair though her left deep blue one calm and emotionless.

Midnight: "Your eyes are like sunlit ice." she said looking away when he did and began watching the water as a gentle breeze sent ripples across its surface. The breeze gently blew the hair from her eyes showing that her right eye was scarred and blind.

Midnight: "Lets just say I took the blame for my brother and went off the radar from my town" she said just watching the water though her eyes distant as if lost in memories. The lake began to replay her memories. A young girl standing protectivly infront of a crying you young boy aarms out scream "I stole it, leave my brother alone!" Next came a scream of pain and the water went red from her vision and the the word "Exile" rang out followed by the boys screams of protest.

[Me: This is what I mean by detail.]

Midnight: She sighed and looked back at him. The lake began reflecting his memories. She watched the water and the word hung in the air. "We're alike in that way aren't we?" she asked looking back at him with her eyes holding understanding.

[Me: Glad to know I'm not the only one.]

Midnight: Watched the water beginning to hum an old song her mother taught her a while ago before her exile.

[Me: *thumbs up* :D]

Midnight: Her song lasted for a while and after it came to an end it seemed to vibrate over the water.

Me: XD

Midnight: She draws her feet out of the water and brings her knees to her chest watching the ripples and listening to the lapping of the water against the shore.

[Me: XDDD X3]

Midnight: My mother, before I was exiled. Her name was Rosemary." she said looking over at him.

Midnight: She nodded as she met his eyes. "I think this is the most I've talked since my exile." she said.

Midnight: She held his gaze her right eye hidden again as she tried to think of what to say next. She was at a loss being as antisocial as she was this conversation stuff was all new to her. Even as a child she was like this, quiet and withdrawn.

Midnight: She looked back at the water then layied back closing her eyes as she relaxed.

Midnight: She opened her eyes hearing what he said and raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by that?" she asked looking up at him from were she layied in the grass.

Midnight: She sat up and looked into the water watching his reflection. Seeing the shadow of a wing she froze staring then looked at him. "You're a fallen angel?" she asked quietly.

Midnight: "Why did you did you become a fallen angel? You seem like an incredible guy." she said looking back at the water not wanting to look closely incase the shadow stared backbut it disn't help because the shadow already was. It had eyes and an evil smirking mouth that both glowed red. "That is who hides inside of me. The shadow of my rage and loneliness, Shadeara." she whispered and the shadow reflection narrowed her eyes smirking even more.

Midnight: She nodded then squeezed her eyes shut in pain as the shadow tried to take over her body. Her body began to waver as it became a shadow. Looking over at him it was easy to see the shadow was now in control. "Yes, it's me. Midnight thinks she's so strong which physically she is but, mentally she's very weak unless she has something to protect. Now, a fallen angel is a very intriging find seeing as how you were of light and I'm of dark. That would make us enemies correct?" the shadow asked looking at the water. This time it was Midnight in the reflection and she looked unconsious with her eyes closed and face relaxed not guarded.

[Me: I don't know why but whenever I do Midnight human or sonic style she will always more than likely have Shadeara. Idky]

Shadeara: "My ultimate goal is to destroy everything because as Midnight explained, I'm the shadow of her rage and loneliness. So I desire nothing more than destroying things." she said watching as Midnight opened her eye and glared angrily up at Shadeara.

[Me: I'm weird o3o]

Shadeara: "No one would have anything and before Midnight stop me, I'd seal her inside forever and become the rule of choas and distruction forever" she said her voice risiing in excitment as she pictured it yet again and her evil grin grow though it fell a moment later as Midnight fought to take control of her body again.

Shadeara: She just glared then was forced back as Midnight took back control. "She doesn't care, she just wants to destroy as I did after I was first exiled. Then I began to think and realized destroying wouldn't solve anything. She never figured it out though." Midnight said laying back in exhaution. Forced out then her way back in control from Shadeara was a very draining task.

Midnight: She nodded looking over at him. "She's a real pain in the tail always trying to take over so she can accomplish that goal. I feel so responsible because she was created by my emotions and became another spirit trapped inside me." she sighed.

Midnight: She nodded. "If one is kil.led, so is other one." she said.

Midnight: She looked up at the sky then closed her eyes. Her hair slipped out from infront of her right eye.

Midnight: She slowly fell asleep her breathing growing deep and steady.

Midnight: She went into a state of nothingness as she slept though felt a new lightness around her like.

Me: What should happen next? o3O

Midnight: She looked around and smiled seeing all her old friends and family from her hometown though her eyes widened as she reached out to them. They all faded slowly with tears in their eyes though they smiled. "No." she whispered as her mother gave a sad smile before fading. Soon she stood stiff looking out at the empty nothingness.

Me: Sounds brilliant! *thumbs up*

Midnight sank to her knees feeling so helpless then her blood froze as the shadow began whispering him her ear. Staring straight ahead she felt her body quivering in helplessiness. "Why, why do you torment me like this?" she breathed hearing an echoing memory of her pain.

Midnight: Staring ahead she saw a light form in her world of shadow and the shadow Shadeara instantly backed off. Standing Midnight heard his voice and she didn't feel so alone as she began to make her way over singing a calming to tune to help them both. It echo between where the light and dark regions met. So different yet so much the same in the way of balance.

Midnight made her way over to him shaking off the shadows that tried to cling to her. Her hair swayed gently as she walked and as she came to stand infront of him. She watched his eyes gently her deep blue eyes soft and understanding as her song was coming to an end.

Midnight watched his eyes carefully as the last note hung. She wiped away his tears gently with her thumb as she said "It's alright, you're not alone, you'll never be alone as long as you carry their memory with you in your heart." she said already guessing he'd had the same experience she had. "You have to stay strong for them but doesn't mean hide it from everyone, as I learned the hard way."

Midnight smiled seeing his smile. "Come one lets think of something happy so we can get out of this weird torturing dream." she said again gently wiping away the tear that slid down his cheek. She understood how he felt and could relate to most of his memories. That being said though, she was completely opposite to him because she had a dark and withered heart from hiding herself away and letting her emotions consume her. Until that moment, it had left her in a dark pit with only Shadeara as company. Now though she had a little hope of healing that dark and withered heart.

Midnight watched his eyes surpised that he knew how to help. Though she smiled nodding. "I agree." she said softly holding his gaze.

Midnight nodded watching the memory then sensing it was her turn and the surrounding changed to a peaceful field with two siblings wrestling. "The day my parents were murd.ered my brother and I had been playing in the field close to home. At lunch we were heading in but as we got close we heard my mother's screams of fear that were quickly silenced. Scared, I picked up my brother and covered his mouth hiding a tree all the while listening to my father's torch.ured screams of pain and loss. I felt so guilty not trying to help but what could we do? We were just children at the time. After everything was silent I released my brother both our faces streaked with tears and as I looked in I immediately pushed him back so her didn't see the horror that was in our home. I held him close and we both sat crying in sorrow." she said a tear sliding down her cheek as the dream replayied that horrid memory.

Me: Jeez I gave her a bad past O__O

Midnight looked over at him as he brushed away her tears and gave a small nod and a faint smile as he spoke. "Thank you." she murmured quietly.

Midnight nodded closing her eyes and sensed her withered heart was reluctant to change. She herself didn't really like change.

"For me change brought nothing but pain." she whispered quietly though tried again and her heart started to fill slightly with more positive emotions helping it to become light and full again.

From that new happy positive it eventually her heart began to just heal itself because the positive felt good. It made her feel better. She sensed he was also getting positive energy from this so tried to help increase it by making an energy con.nection to share this new happiness she felt.

Soon her heart was filled with all the positive it could handle but there was permanant darkness over a small area do to Shadeara.

Midnight opened her eyes looking up at him. "Thank you for helping bring me out of the darkness that surrounded me." she said.

In the real world her hand was brushing his hand gently in her sleep.

Midnight smiled and suprising gave him a thank you hug. He was the first one to get a Midnight hug since her exile.

"Well with all this settled I'm well rested. Should we wake up now?" she asked pulling away after a moment.

Midnight smiled and closed her eyes as her real body began to awaken. She felt a warmth surrounding her hand and she slowly opened her eyes.

As her eyes opened, she saw that their hand were intertwined and she looked at his eyes with a light blush.

Midnight smiled back gently though didn't know what to do next as she layied there comfortablely.

Midnight looked up, the sky was dark and there were fireflies dancing over them and the lake. Her eyes gleamed as they caught the light the fireflies made.

Midnight looked over feeling his gaze and gave a happy smile and a thumbs up with her free hand. A firefly landed on her thumb and she chuckled watching it.

"Me too." she said. This new feeling of happiness used to be so fimiliar when she was young, then she had to step up and get strong and cold to protect her brother. She was glad she was able to feel happy again.

Midnight slowly sat up and soon fireflies just started landing on her and one even landed on Spirit's nose. She chuckled looking around.

Looking over at him Midnight smirked now unable to hide her amuse.ment.

"I love fireflies, they're such beautiful dancers and they always find ways to amuse me." she said.

Midnight nodded in agreement. "They certainly do that, don't they. Hey lets dance with them. I haven't danced in a really long time so it should be fun, what to you think?" she asked.

Midnight took his hand and used it to help her stand. When she got to her feet the fireflies sensed they had new dancing companions and began to fly over to investigate.

"Same here, I would always just dance with my brother in the meadow when we got really bored." she said chuckling as she was watching him with a smile.

Midnight got in rhythm with his steps and then began to dance with him.

Midnight smiled watching his eyes as the meldoy of nature stared to pick up. The gentle rippling of wind over water, the rustling of wind through the trees and the humm of the fireflies wings as they danced around Spirit and Midnight.

The fireflies danced with the wind as did Midnight's hair as it blew with it out of her face. She looked down as her scarred and blinded eye was revealed yet again

Midnight smiled with a light blush. "Nothing much to see in the left eye though. Nothing but a blind eye." she said softly holding his gaze.

"T-Thank you." she said with a smile her right eye lighting up with the smile, though in her left eye, the smile didn't quite reach it.

Midnight chuckled at his blush and lightly ran the tip of her finger against it watching his eyes. The fireflies still dancing around them with the wind slackening.

Midnight smiled and chuckled then tapped his nose with her finger playfully. She felt a new warmth running through her and she loved it.

She felt her cheeks heat up in a blush as she smiled lightly.
Me: Hehehe ewe

Midnight smiled shrugging before lightly kissing his cheek. "It's ok, neither could I." she said.

Me: ewe Ooooooo.

Midnight blushed more watching his eyes not knowing to do what next.

[Me: Same here ewe]

Midnight playied with his hair gently holding his gaze unable to look away.

She slowly leaned closer focusing on his eyes.

When her lips hovered just in front of his she stopped, her eyes slowly starting to drift closed with her hands resting on his shoulders.

Midnight closed her eyes completely and leaned closer her lips brushing his. Everything to her was in a stand still momemt.

Midnight slowly wrapped her arms around his neck kissing him gently.

Midnight pressed alittle feeling their heat ratiate between eachother.

Midnight responded by deeping the kiss a little bit.

Midnight blushed alittle more as he deepened the kiss and her arms tighted slightly around his neck.

She pulled away to breath and opened her eyes to watch his face.

Midnight was at a loss for words unable to descibe the happiness and warmth that was welling up inside of her heart.

Looking into his eyes, she saw he felt the same way. "That was nice." she finally murmured quietly.

Midnight smiled as he lifted her chin up and just watched his eyes.

Midnight smiled more, a finger trailing up the back of his ear slowly. She waiting to see his reaction though didn't show that was her plan.

Midnight smirked continueing. She was in a goofy/playful mood after healing her heart. Making up for all those years lost some might guess.

Midnight chuckled lightly with her finger trailing down to his neck where it began to run light circles over his neck. She watched his eyes playfully waiting to see his reaction to this.

Midnight smirked and just to see his reaction ran her finger lightly under the collar of his shirt.
[Me: Midnight's gettin' goofy. ewe hehehe xD]

Midnight chuckled seeing his darkening blush. Her finger trailed back up his neck running light circles over it. "You're fun to mess with." she said playfully. After she said that, she started to wonder if he'd retaliate and find ways to mess with her. That got her heart racing in ant!c!pat!on.

Midnight felt a shiver run down down her spine though it made her smile with a blush. "Looks like it's your turn." she chuckled watching his eyes.

[Me: Alright]

Midnight closed her eyes feeling another shiver. "Now I see what my teasing felt like to you." she chuckled.

Midnight grinned and her eyes eyes gleamed mischieviously then she gently bit his finger watching his eyes.

After a moment she let it go smirking seeing as how she got him to blush. It was kinda hard to get her to blush once she got used to something. So he'd have to try harder if he wanted to see a dark blush.

That did the trick, Midnight's cheeks went a dark-ish pink as he did. Her eyes stared ahead eyes drifting closed as she smiled enjoying the feel of the butterfly kisses.

Midnight closed her eyes letting out a quiet moan as he continued with the butterfly kisses.

Feeling playful still she nipped his bottom lip as pressed his lips to hers again.

Midnight smirked slightly arms tightning around his neck her eyes closed as she just went with the flo.

Midnight deepened the kiss feeling his arms tighten around her waist.

Midnight pressed closer as the kiss deepened her arms tighening around his neck.

Midnight moaned slightly losing herself in the kiss.

Midnight deepened the kiss as she felt more confident in herself.

She purred like a cat feeling the heat and tension radiate. Her heart was racing in excitement.

Midnight pressed against him more intensifing the heat and her racing heart, she was sure, he could feel.

Midnight let a moan slip out as well and continued kissing him getting a little more aggressive.

Midnight broke away to breath her forehead resting on his as she tried to regulate her breathing. Her heart was racing still as she playied with his hair gently.

"That was..." Midnight began in a quiet whisper unable to describe how amazing that had been.

She met his gaze with a light chuckle. "Yah." she said as she caught her breath.

"This is the first time I've felt like this in my life." she said.

Midnight smiled just smiling. It felt so perfect compared to her old life with her dark and withered heart. 'How did this miracle that walked into my life find me? Of all those who deserved nothing, he found me.' she asked herself holding his gaze.

Midnight smiled slowly and teasing running a finger under his shirt collar again wanting to see if he'd blush, retaliate somehow or both.

Midnight chuckled as he just blushed and grinned watching his eyes.

[me: he should so retaliate. ewe]

Midnight surpressed a shiver grinning as it appeared he was retaliating as well. So she decided this was gonna be a retaliation game. So she slowly started to slide her hand under the collar of his shirt.

[Me: Hehehe Xj]

This time she couldn't stop the shiver at his touch and her hand slid completely down the collar of his shirt her fingers dancing lightly over his back.

Midnight chuckled lightly her fingers running small circles over his spine. Holding his gaze she smirked forming a plan.

Midnight smirked then kissed his jaw teasingly her fingers pressing against his back a little more still doing circles.

Midnight chuckled watching his eyes as kissed his nose.

She shivered with a grin kissing down his cheek until she kissed the corner of his mouth lightly.

She tilted her head exposing more of her neck to him with a purr. Her throat vibrating.

[Me: I'm changing her to a cat just because I like cats.]

Midnight tickled his neck with her tail tip with a mischievious grin eyes closed.

[Me: hehehe xj]

Midnight chuckled though still purred listening to his purrs and opened her eyes with a smirk. She was finding it rather amusing as well.

Midnight purred louder blushing a bit her eyes fluttering closed. "This is amazing" she whispered in a purr.

She purred louder smiling controlling her blush. Her fingers running over his back slowly.

Midnight purred kissng his neck her finger still running over his back firmly.

Midnight his neck more wanting to hear him moan more before he got her to.

Midnight purred with a quiet moan.

Midnight purred louder smiling.

Midnight moaned smiling her purrs growing louder.

Midnight moaned kissing him back.

Midnight tightened her arms around his neck holding the kiss.

Midnight purred happily at this feeling of warmth that coursed through her as the kiss held.

[Me: Something needs to happen but I'm not sure what. What do you think?]

Midnight purred but pulled back stiffening. She felt like they were being watched.

[Me: Sounds good >:3]

Midnight growled then paled reremembering the laugh that erupted from the trees. "Long time no see sis." said a boy's teasing voice. Midnight blushed hiding her face in Spirit's chest. "I'd forgotten how annoying he was." she muttered.

A black cat with the same marking came out chuckling. The only difference in the markings were the colors, Mid's were dark blue and his were dark green.

He came up smirking his eyes gleamed with laughter. "Well this is very funny, wouldn't you say sis." he said chuckling his tail swaying slowly from side to side.

"I'd say you just as annoying as the last time I saw you before I was exiled." she said pulling away and looking at her brother.

"Who's your boyfriend Mid?" he asked with a smirk watching Midnight's face flush a dark pink.

'That is my brother Forest and as you can see he's a complete a pest.' she thought to Spirit not answering Forest's question.

"Yah, anyway, Forest he's not my boyfriend." she said though looked at Spirit as if asking if they were together.
"You could have fooled me with the way you guys were kissing." he said chuckling teasingly.
Midnight's face went red.

"Forest, please go away. I've missed you and all but you're embarrassing." she said hiding in her hair.

"Awww but that's the fun of being me." Forest pouted.

Midnight's eyface was hidden by hair and Forest just laughed watching their reactions.

Forest fell back laughing up a storm.

"Sorry about him." Midnight whispered.

Having had enough Midnight drew one of her throwing knives and threw it aiming just beside his head. It landed with a 'thud' a whisker's length from his head and he shut up paling as he looked at the blade then his sister's face which was hidden by shadows.

"Geez you're annoying you worm. Why not go run back home and annoy mommy. Oh, that's right, you can't can you. That's to bad but, that's reason I'm here in the first place." Midnight said her voice sounding different, sounding evil and a fight red glow could be seen from her mouth and as she grinned looking up her visible eye glowed blood red with her pupil a vertical slit like a viper's. It was the shadow, Shadeara.

Forest watched her good eye in horror paling even more.

Me: Uh-oh. They're in trouble. o_o

"Oh, you can't have Midnight back just yet. Mid and I need to have a little chat first." she said watching his eyes with an evil smirk her body dissovling into shadows.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Shadeara asked with a teasing chuckle her body now a shadow that moved silently for the shadows of the trees.

"Impatient. Learn slow down." she said before disappearing into the shadows.

"W-What's going on?" Forest stammered fear laced in his voice.

Shadeara smirked her eye burning into his before she disappeared. About two minutes later Midnight let out a pain filled scream. Shadeara was making a deal with Midnight.

"Midnight's in pain!" Forest shouted running to go help.

Midnight continued to scream in the shadows of the forest hidden from sight.

"Midnight!" Forest yelled.

[Me: I'm so evil to her. I don't know why.]

Midnight had four parallel glowing lines going down the right side of her face down her right side to her hip. Her screams were coming down to whimpers as she fought the pain and Shadeara.

Giving a defiant yell Midnight pushed Shadeara back though the new glowing red scars stayied. Midnight looked over at Spirit worried. "Spirit, fight him, I know you can. Don't prove me wrong or I'll find a way to get back at you." she growled exhaustedly

Midnight stumbled over to him unable to put much weight on her right leg because it sent pain firing through the glowing red scars that Shadeara inflicted.

Midnight frowned seeing the marks had grown. "You alright?" she asked her voice rough but quiet.

"So has she." she said the scars running from her face to her hip still glowing.

Midnight stayied sitting down still unable to put alot of wieght on her right leg.

Midnight up at him then over to the frozen in shock Forest who was watching the whole thing.

"More or less. Someone please explain what just happened." he said.

"Who are they and why are they trying to take over you're bodies?" he asked.

"Shadeara in a demon and Aiden is a fallen angel. Both are just tired of being trapped inside of us." Midnight said.

[Me: gtg. Going to my cousins. Should be a blast *rolls eyes with annoyied sigh*]

Forest again just stared at them in shock.

"It'll be a while until he fully understands what we just said." Midnight told Spirit.

[me: I have a little more time though I may disappear for while meaning I'm on my way to their house.]

Midnight nodded.
"Is there anyway to free you guys from them?" she said.

"Shadeara has merged herself with my heart so there isn't for me either." Midnight said.

"Me too." she said following his gaze across the lake sadly.

"I wish I could help." Forest said.

Midnight nodded sadly Giving her brother a hug as he came to sit next to her.
"This sucks." he murmured head on Midnight's shoulder.

Midnight put an arm around Spirit to try and comfort him. She whispered in his ear, "Remember, you're never alone. I'll be here for you and so will the memories that lie in your heart. They're there to guide you and remind you of what you can have once again."

Midnight smiled and kissed his cheek gently to make him feel better.

She smiled back but rolled her eyes as Forest started tugging her hair with a smirk. "Give me a second." she said then pulled her arm away and started to tickle her brother who squealed in laughter like a child as he tried to escape.

Midnight had Forest pinned on his stomach as she continued to tickle him. "Quit being a brat." she chuckled playfully.

"Ok!Ok! Let me up!" Forest laughed out of breath.

Midnight let him up jumping back.

Midnight sat back down next to Spirit as Forest recovered from his sister's tickle attack.

Midnight watched the water with a small almost invisible smile. Her hair being blown gently in a cool breeze that glided over the lake.

Midnight smiled humming her mother's lullaby gently.

She continued to humm the lullaby and looked over seeing that Forest had already fallen asleep.

[Me: Hey I'm working on a Collab, do you or one of your ocs want to be in it?]

Midnight held back a chuckle as she continued to humm.

[Me: Alright, you or one of your ocs?]

Midnight watched chuckling on the inside as she continued to humm. She looked back over the lake with a smile.

[Me: Alright, Spirit it is. x3]

Midnight gently let the last note hang as she held it.

Midnight layied back after she finished the lullaby and looked up at the stars. She had a feeling dawn wasn't that far away.

Midnight fell asleep next to him her breathing slow and rythmatic.

She rolled on her side almost directly into him. Her nose inches from his.

Midnight had a light blush sensing how close his presense was.

[Me: You've seen Soul Eater haven't you? owo]

Midnight's soul responded by releasing a faint glow as well.

[Me: So he has soul perseption huh? ewe Who's your favorite character? Maka, Soul, Black Star,Tsubaki, Kid, Liz, Patty, or Stien?]

Her soul was a light purple do to the strong influence of the shadow in her heart.

[Me: My favorite episode is the one where they first introduce Stien. It's flipping hilarious! XDDDD]

Midnight felt his soul wavelength and noticed hers was about in in strength but alot more aggressive and dark. 'Still shadowed by darkness' she thought to herself.

[Me: Awesome, I'd have to say Maka or Kid are my favorite. My brother acts alot like Kid and Black Star.]

Midnight frowned feeling a chill and scooting closer her nose just under his chin as she pressed closer.

[Me: I'm visualizing this and going awwwww >w< as I read. Is it the same with you?]

Midnight felt Shadeara but kept her back. She fell into a deep nightmarish sleep of a world filled with darkness and screams. The nightmare gripped her heart like vines of thorns trying to turn it back into a withered and black mass.

[Me: These two are so cute together. >w< ewe]

Her breathing was coming short and shallo with her soul waves completely wild in fear. The screams in her nightmare bringing back horrible memories. Even with him right there the nightmare had a stronger grip on her heart at that moment than he did.

[Me: I think I will too.]

In her nightmare as the darkness was chased away she turned seeing the source of the light. She had tears running down her face because of the fear she had felt in that world filled with blackness and screams.

Midnight looked at him unable to saw anything. She leaned into him needing to feel his strong embrace to help feel safe.

"Thank you." she whimpered tears still falling in fear of the memories that had been brought back up.

"He wouldn't" she whispered eyes wide and trembling as images of her worst nightmare flashed in her mind. An evil smirk on the face of a handsome dark brown cat who left her house just after her perents had been kil.led. Her parents murde.rer had been her ex boyfriend.

She stood stiff and trembling. 'Why, why would Forest go to 'Him'? He brought us nothing but pain.' she thought her skin paling. It was easy to see she was terrified but with her bad girl I can take it attitude its hard for most people to imagine her scared.

Midnight met his eyes trying to calm herself and found that she was able to a little bit.

Midnight nodded slowly then closed her eyes taking a deep breath. Slowly she calmed down that is until she picked up 'his' bittersweet scent. Again she paled, her eyes wide as she heard his smooth confident voice as he said "Hey sweetheart, I've been worried about you." About 100 feet behind her stood that dark brown cat, his bright green eyes narrowed in amuse.ment and his lips holding that evil smirk.

"Oh what's wrong my little kitty? You remember me right?" he asked teasingly. Midnight slowly turned eyes cold and unforgiving. She was forcing all her fury out to keep from crumpling in fear. "That's just it, I do remember. You're the one that k!lled my parents, ratted out my brother how many times and ultimately that let to my scar and blind eye not to mention the shadow." She snarled her muscled now tensed in forced aggression.

He just laughed tail flicking and some other men came out and two of them were holding a beat Forest between them. He looked at Midnight scared, giulty and confused.

"Let my brother go." she growled her voice getting low as true aggression and hatred flowed through her.

"Beat me in a fight and you all lose. But if I beat you the two guys that are closest to your heart both die and you're mine." he said with a smirk.

That first sentence in the last part should be "Beat me in a fight and you all go free."

"Well I wasn't challenging you or Aiden. I was challenging Midnigh..." he began but froze mid sentence as a knife was suddenly sticking out of his chest. Looking at Midnight he saw the red eyes of her shadow form. "He's not worth my time." she hissed as he pulled the knife out sinking to his knees.

"No, because he's just a pawn and he's going to go report his failure to the bigger fish. Then we're going to have a whole mob to take down. But the mob is the reason my town became so corrupt now that i think about it. You'll have plenty of oppertunity to k!ll later Aiden. Put him down. He'll be dead as soon as the leader hears of his failure." Midnight said going back in her normal form.

"You won't be waiting for long." Midnight growled in frustration as the men teleported away but quickly went to Forest's side worried.

Forest was beaten pretty badly because the men had tor.tured him before arriving but besides that they were fine...for the time being anyway.[>:3]

One of the kil.lers looked right into the shadows they hid in with an evil grin like he knew they were there. "This town will soon belong to us and all who appose can join their friends in exile or death." he said and the men around him cheered though his eyes seemed to meet hers.

She quivered as she watched her brother's beaten face"He knew, he knew we were there. So why not just ki// us then when he knew he could?" she asked no one inparticular trembling with her blood running cold.

"Well that time is long over. Now It's going to be me that strikes him." she said though it was impossible to tell if her expression or quivers were from fear or rage.

She looked up at him as he did and gave a small nod a tear running down her cheek.

"They'll more than likey come after us before we can get to them and Forest is in no condition to fight. I have a cabin nearby where he'd be safe. That's our first stop." she said.

Midnight nodded in agreement and got her brother's right arm to wrap around her shoulders as she stood having him lean on her.

With Forest between them Midnight led the way to her cabin hidden in the forest around the lake.

Midnight held her grip on Forest and continued to walk until they reached her cabin. She opened the door and walked in.

"I'll have to get a fire started later but for though lets get him on the couch. I have blankets that'll keep him warm." she said.

Midnight nodded leading him to the couch were they set him down and then Midnight went to get her first-aid kit.

Midnight came back and started cleaning Forest's wounds carefully and bandaging them.

Midnight finishes as Forest opened his eyes looking up at them. "I-I-I'm s-s-sor-rry-y" he stuttered weakly with a cough.
"Shhh sh sh sh sh. It's ok, we'll talk about this after you recover." Midnight said standing up straight.

Forest nodded closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Midnight went next to Spirit letting out a sigh that made it sound like she was sad or something.

"I guess but I still feel like it shouldn't have happened." she sighed looking over at him.

"I know it is though. If only I had taken better care of him and not said what I did just before I was thrown. I said such horrible things about everyone in town do to my disbelief and rage just before I was thrown out. Now I wish I could go back and take it all back. Though the words I want to take back the most are the ones I said about Forest...." she said through gritted teeth her voice faltering as she felt the sting of the tears she fought to hold in and hide.

Midnight looked over at him saying nothing but she squeezed his hand gently in understanding since they were holding hands

She rested her head on his shoulder lightly with a sigh. "Thank you." she whispered.

"Lets go get these guys. We can't give them the chance to make the first move." she said

Midnight nodded then looked over at Forest for a moment then led the way out.

Midnight knew she'd probably end up getting hurt badly at the least, though tried not to think about the worst case senerio as she walked. Her eyes focused on a point infront of her.

Midnight continued to walk though her walking was getting a little stiffer the closer they got to facing the gang. Her muscles tensed in ant!c!pation for the upcoming battle. After about a half hour they were getting close to a temerary camp the gang used.

Midnight flicked her ear holding her arm out to stop Spirit her tail lashing eyes narrowed. "I know you're there. Come out Heath." she growled. The brown cat from before stepped out of some bushes jaw clenched eyes narrowed. His stab wound hurting alot.

"You've got a lot of nerve showing up back here Midnight. You know all that awaits you is imprisonment or death." Heath growled through gritted teeth.

"No, all that awaits you all is death." she growled.

"Not like I really had a choice." Heath growled as a group of other gang members came to his side.

Midnight stood tall and defiant watching them eyes narrowed.

Midnight eyes flashed red as Shadeara added her caged up rage and Midnight grabbed two throwing knives, one in each hand.

Heath and his guys all stood their ground weapons in hand and tensed ready to attack.
Midnight growled then made the first move throwing one of her knives and it hit on of Heath's men in the throat causing him to gasp as he tried to breath though fell to his knees after a moment.

Heath watched in surpise and yelped as Spirit/Aidan reached him though it was cut as his neck was snapped.

Midnight watched as the men fell eyes narrowed. "You should have just left me alone." she growled then led the way onto the camp.

Midnight walked out of the bushes knives at the ready to find the camp empty. The area was quiet, a little to quiet.

Midnight had her ears perked as she looked around. "We should go back to back so they can't get us offguard." she whispered to him

Midnight went behind him and pressed her back to his as she looked knives at the ready. Her right eye hidden as usual, though her left was narrowed and an aggressive growl escaped from her throat.

Quiet footsteps could be heard if they listened carefully. The footsteps surrounded the clearing in which the camp was in.

Midnight perked her ears and closed her eye consentrating on picking up noice. The sure enough she heard the footsteps and nodded. A moment later they were surround by 25 men all very well armed and Midnight snapped open her eyes with a deep growl.

"Yep, this definitely will get interesting. You ready for it?" Midnight asked looking over her shoulder. She had a small smirk because she was ready for a little bit of battle to get her back on track because she was a little rusty.

"Let's make this a game and see who can take out the most" she challenged with a chuckle.

"Alright!" she said with a smirk throwing two knives landing two deadly blows and whipped a third out releasing it into her third victim.

Midnight drew her last two throwing knives then threw them claiming two more lives before grbbing the axe strapped to her back. "Been a while since I've used this." she chuckled her eyes flashing red as she let Shadeara take control in taking two more lives. They had already halfed the ambush party.

"This is very fun." Shadeara said with an evil smirk laughing as she swiped her axe taking four lives. Though a spear went through her chest and since Midnight was still in control of Shadeara both suffered injury. She went back into physical form coughing blood but to stubborn to give up. They only had a few more left to take out.

"One left." Midnight coughed swiping her axe but squeaked in pain because of her chest wound. The last guy then kicked her and she landed on her side growling in pain.

Midnight took it trying to stand but the spear had punctured a lung that was now being flooded by blood. She was having a hard time breathing.

Midnight layied on her back eyes closed trying to keep her breathing steady and not quick panicked breaths.

Once she was fully healed she turned her head to the side and coughed up what blood was trapped in her lung. After that, she gritted her teeth and sat up. "Thank you." she whispered quietly her voice rough like sandpaper then she saw the deep gash on his neck.

"Lay down, you need to rest. Shadeara can heal that but it'll hurt." Midnight said. Shadeara was never really nice when it can to anything as you can see though, she's getting better when it comes to 'him'. [Hahahaha xD]

Midnight let closed her eyes and let the shadow rise and then placed her hand on his neck and closed the wound with want may be described as the sparks of hell. Her hand released the sparks which did heal but they just hurt like hell.

Shadeara pulled her hand back after it was healed.

"I feel like causing a little choas after that fight. There's a town not that far from here. Wanna go have some fun being distructive?" she asked with a red smirk.

Shadeara smirked and stood, the shadows of her body whisping around gently.

Shadeara smirked her red eyes glowing then merged with the shadows around her and almost was instantly at the edge of town.

"Let get to terrorizing." she said with an evil smirk creating shadow wolves with glowing red eyes.

The shadow wolves rushed out of the shadows snarling a growling. Immediately there were screams and cries of distress. "Your turn." she said.

Shadeara laughed hearing the screams of pain and fear. She was very amused by this destruction and choas around town.

Shadeara smirked watching and listening. "What shall we do next?" she asked with an evil glowing grin.

Shadeara looked up meeting his gaze her red eyes narrowed with a teasing grin. She ran a soft, gentle, yet very teasing finger along his jawline.

She had a hand placed on his chest and the other playing with his hair. This kiss was helping her feel the emotions Midnight did with Spirit. The feeling of love and happiness.

Shadeara felt a small and quiet purr vibtrating in her throat as she continued to kiss him.

Shadeara smirked feeling his sinister smile aand she deeped the kiss more eyes closed. The cries of the town not phasing her at all and her purr was growing slightly.

Midnight just stayied there in his arms smiling until the noises of Aiden and Shadeara's destruction finally hit her ears.

"What can we do? Those two went and attack this town. How are we going to save them?" Midnight breathed fear gripping her heart for those who were being put through this pain because of Aiden and Shadeara.

"Worth a shot." Midnight said.

People were glad the fire was out but then they saw Midnight and Spirit. "What should we do?" one on the townsfolk asked but no one knew how to help them.

Two people came and picked them up and brought them to a safe place to rest.

Midnight after a few hours of rest was forcing herself up so she could get back to her brother Forest who was still at her cabin.

"Got to, I've got to get back to Forest." she kept mumbling as she to herself

She stumbled out of the house feeling weak but fought it so she coud check on her brother.
