I sometimes make little mistakes like that in my drawings. If you were using Adobe Photoshop to create a painting of this it would have been fixed during the painting process.

@ boombox: Of course, it's an original drawing of mine. I really want to create more art fan art, though. I'm not for sure but, the character designer for the anime you painted the character in the following image was designed by a woman I attended hign school with. "SIMON! (TTGL)" She was a foreign exchange student. The character designer's name is Watanabe Tae. (Last name first.) Yeah, she's pretty good, even then. Many years later in 2003, I took a couple of classes at a community college in another state and met someone who translated the name of the character designer for me. I met Tae in Southern California when I was in high school. I wish I had stayed in touch with her now. You know hinkdsight is 20/20.

@ boombox: So you speak Japanese, too. Where did you get the hiragana characters for your computer? I'd really like to know. I'm not very fluent with Japanese, at all. I only speak a few words and couple of sentences at best. I plan on studying it again in the near future because I'd like to visit Japan someday soon. Have you ever been there? And, do you have a Colors! forum id?

Yes, i've been learning from my DS Japanese Coach for about 7months now. slowly but surely in my spare time :) i only speak small bits and a few sentences too as it warms you up slowly. but i found it very very useful and effective. gonna carry on using this until i finish and then pay for lessons! ahh i got it a while back. i typed 'how to type Japanese characters on vista' (or something along those lines) into google and found instructions to enable it. This link might help you if you have Vista :D http://www.guidetojapanese.org/wiki/index.php/Typing_in_Japanese
You don't need to download anything!

I want to go to Japan so bad. I definitely want to go to Tokyo. The DS Japanese Coach, is it a program for the DS Lite? If so, where can I get a copy of it? I use XP. If you know of a site like the one you gave me the link for that uses XP that would be great. Now, I'm kinda jealous of you. You've been to the land of the rising sun. So, did you visit your favorite animation studio run by a fellow by the name of Miyazaki Hayao or, maybe museum the father of manga, Osamu Tezuka? If you have any photos you'd like to share I'd love to see them. Did you go there on holiday or business? Have you checked you inbox in the forum, lately?
