Thanks guys, much appreciated. @Knots: thanks, to be honest I'm not the best person to learn drawing techniques from. I don't really draw with a particular style and most of my work is improvised. I tend to change parts of my drawings over and over as I don't really know what I'm doing most of the time lol. @NonSpecificArtist: Not likely, I'm not bothered about getting massive attention, I'm quite happy with the amount of followers I have right now.
Oh no! It's flowing away! The blood doth not drip from its fangs as the paint drips from the canvas. Very well done! Thanks for the follow M.C! I'm not sure what of your work I've liked already and what I haven't yet liked, cuz I'm usually on my 3DS, which is unfortunate because I can't see any of your work in my feed, even though I've followed you. But yes, awesome as always, and yes, of course liked. Is your stuff visible on the online week's best and/or top ranked? Have you checked?
@kokoehn: When I blend colors the first thing I do is get the basic tones down, and try to use darker tones at first. I then use the eyedropper tool to select one of the colors, and reduce the opacity so it is very low. I try to blend the colors with this slighy transparrent color. I find it is quite easier to start off with dark color tones and paint the lighter tones on top gradually with less opacity. Just keep adding the ligher tones gradually with very low opacity until you're happy with it. I'm not the best at shading and I can't really blend colors smoothly. I'm also not very good at trying to decribe my painting techniques but I hope you find this a bit useful :)
This is the pure definition of wild beauty. Magnificent job on the dripping paint effect it gives it a look of a freshly painted canvas. Just beautiful... :)
