This would actually be Earth's rough position in Spring, but those are fall constellations (in the Northern Hemisphere). Which brings me to my next point: this challenge is a bit inconsiderate of those from the Southern Hemisphere. Y'all who hail from South of the equator may wish to render "The Coming Spring" as that would be more appropriate to your situation & circumstance. Also these constellations aren't Zodiacal, so their positions relative to the ecliptic aren't accurate. #wc177#space#sun
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

So this is a depiction of "The Coming Autumn" for the Southern Hemisphere, about six months away and back. :)

I didn't use references for the Earth, moon, [or sun :)]. So for any errors that should exist with these, I am completely to blame. The stars are quite a bit brighter than they ought to be, relative to the sun. However, I did reference a star chart to render them, so they should be reasonably accurate. Hopefully.

Not their positions relative to the ecliptic, but relative to one another, and their spacing to the size of the disc of the sun and moon as seen from Earth.
