Thanks for the Gold Star Josh! You know that if it had been you who drew it, it would have several hundred likes by now. Why haven't you done anything for the challenge? Your art is really in line with the theme. Is that because you know you'd crush us mere mortals, and you're just an exceptionally nice fellow? Twarda has nearly two-thousand followers, and still thought it acceptable to enter a painting in an earlier contest, AND it won. Are you a nice guy or what!

Followers aren't everything of course but they are essential to acquiring likes in the new set-up.

And I joined last month, long after the top artists (like you) had been established, and their followers became set in their follows. So I'm quite a bit late to the party, it would seem.

Oh, and I should clarify: Likes, though not necessary in and of themselves, are essential for art to be viewable by a wider audience. Of course, they make a person feel good too, so they are not likely to be turned down.
