There are tons of who get to Top Ranked tons of times,ddraw EPIC OF ALLLL HHHAALLEEIUGHA!
pics,some better than (no offence) even yours or TCG's!I still dont understand how there not as famous as you n all.
Then again,the get a thousand likes per pic and million of comments.

@-Moonshine-: I totally agree on that 100 percent. Not all of our attention is positive actually. TCG gets alot of haters despite him being the most fallowed on colors. Actually, thats the reason. Some people grow green with invy about top artists. every thing we say sounds smug to them. They just want to pick out all of our flaws and make us feek like we've commited a crime because they dont think we deserve our place. But, i remember how it was being an unknown artist. i just wanted to be noticed like Agent mantis, and everyone else in top ranked. i learned all that attention can get annoying ana stressful at times, which is why i dont draw for attention, and i dont draw because anyone makes me. i draw for the one reason any other artist should. For fun :] im not an expert at handeling attention, i'm not the worlds greatest artist either, my art has its flaws and so do i. im just doing what i do know how to do. i'll admit my friendlist is full of popular artists, but its also filled less talented people who are sweet, funny, smart, and unique people that i love and trust and i couldn't be luckier to have them all :] everyone has the right to judge and have their oun opinions, but i wish they wouldnt take them out on people and make a big fuss. it doesnt solve anything. it actually creates more problems.

@OrangeBird: I believe you're mistaken, sir; just how on Earth am I considered 'popular'!?

One thing I've noticed about popularity on Colors (this is just my thought, please don't make a big deal over it), is that the more well known and "poular" artists are the ones that bring familiarity to their artwork. Those really well drawn pieces of art that you see on the front page definately deserve the number of likes they get, but it's not always clear who the artist is. Those artists are probably satisfied with the fact their artwork is well recieved without being well known. The reason TCG is so popular is because he has a very destinct drawing style and sense of humor, and Victor has an ongoing story and cast of characters that people recognize. I think that individuality is just as important as quality. I mean, Picasso wasn't a famous artist just because he was good at art. His artwork was so unique and different from everyone else's that it changed the way people looked at art. Anyways, that's just my two cents on the matter.

Will i win a popular or semi popular artist contest of course not i do the popular ppls contest for fun really and sometimes i'll get really angry for not winning but than i think and say to myself "i did this for fun not to win." :3

as many followers as I may have, I don't consider myself "popular". And I'd hate being called popular for many reasons:
My art is only there because I like to draw, and it's not even close as good as some artist out there. Plus, I don't really look at the top ranked that often because I feel like my art is cr*p xD
