Since the buses don't run in my town on the weekend, I'm getting up early on Oct. 12 and riding my bike to the store where the bus loops and going to the mall from there to pick up Pokemon Y. The mall doesn't open until 1O, so 7 should be early enough.

After CopyN'Paste for over 9000 years, I glady accept X&Y, and extreamly excited for it. Fairy types were totally needed to stop the demi-god dragon types, as well as make Jigglypuff, Snubull, and CleFAIRY legit. Seriously. And, I personally am a fan of Mega-Evos. Mega's are Hit or Miss for people. It's just like general pokemon; not everyone loves ALL pokemon or their normal evos. Plus, Mega's are totally optional and temporary.

hmm... I must say gen 1 is were heart will always be. But all the begening gens will be my favs. Except for the gen with bidoof [Get my gens mixed] It just seemed like they were scratching at the bottom of the barrel for that one. B&W was good except i didnt like trubish and deh ice creme cone one.

Is it really? Muk is a animated blob of sludge. Humans cause sludge. If that can come to life and be a pokemon, I think a trash bag type thing can too.
As for Game Freak's desgines on, as you say, 'items', may I point to Exeggcute? It's just six eggs (one broken) with faces. Then, there's Voltorb... a Pokeball with eyes. Vanillice, being ice, imo, has more diversity to shaping. We still don't know the orgins of pokemon(speaking ingame), and new pokemon keep being discovered. It's not fair to dislike Vanillice, and we must remember that 'items' aren't completly new. Claydoll and Bannett are 'items' too. Litwic cannot be brought into this, as it's a Ghost, and Ghosts can take certain forms. If you read Litwic, and it's evo chain's, PokeDex enteries, you'll see what's behind them. Don't forger Wabbafet is a literal object, but being controlled by that black tail.
As for efforts in games, that argument is only slightlt valid. They Instead of Copy N Pasting a game over and over with cosmetic changes and a slight tweaking of story gen to gen is the only thing. This is why X&Y is so ant!c!pated. It's completely new, and for once, they are changing the 'game', in a matter of speaking.
When it comes to desgines, yes, there are hits and misses. Yes, personall tastes between indivdual pokemon is amung tge fanbase. And, yes, some of the legindairies are either over desgined, or over used (Dragons. Dragons everywhere!).
But, if saying the designing of general pokemon isn't 'original' or 'uninspired', people need to realize, SO WAS GEN ONE. Squirtle was a plain blue Turtle, Charmander was a orange Salemander with a fire on it's tail, and Bulbasaur was a grass... thing... Bellspout was a rooted plant walking on it's roots, and Ratata was just a purple rat.
I'm not hating on GenI, as I have great respect for it. Great respect. But I dislike people complaining about new gens and worshiping the old without acknowlodging the fact GenI wasn't that amazing, or perfect.

I like the Dissidia Tidus Play Arts figure :U I almost got it once, but I got Noble 6 instead.

That's not a figure. That's a statue. And I don't like Dissidia Tidus' clothes, which is why I spent 700 PP on the Zanarkand Abes uniform Tidus.

Keep in mind each battle you do (whether you win or lose), you earn 10 PP. So I fought 70 battles for it.

Not the Statue (even though I want it), the figure. They made a Play Arts Kai of Dissidia Tidus. They also made one for Squall (which I have).
Anyway, I like Dissidia Tidus.

Dugtrio is just 3 Digletts. Same with Magneton as 3 Magnemites. G1 had the most bad designs that Genwunners ignore and complain about the same thing in other Gens. If you don't like the newer Pokemon, fine. But no need to argue about it.

Df: Actually, Gen1, along with every gen, had quite a few creatures based off mythical creatures, as well as people (i.e. Wubbafat, Abra-Kadabra-Alakazam, ect.). Anyways, as for 'house hold items', Ramb brought up a good example of Magnaton and it's previous evo. Magnets are common items. Then, there's Gen 3's Bannette and gen V's Candlure(as examples): But, for these 'items', have you read their Pokedex entries? Their Mythos? Bannett was a stuffed toy thrown away by it's owner. It came to life, and now looks spitefully for it's owner for revenge. Candlure(and it's evos) all work together to lure humans to their doom. Alot of these 'item' pokemon have perfectly justifiable reasons for existance.
