It's about baseball actually. I've heard this one. In social studies. He's running around a baseball daimond and the masked man is the umpire. so yeah. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to actually answer that by how you worded it, but i have heard this. I think it's supposed to be asking who is the masked man, but you said it as why he was afraid to go home...

I had this same riddle before in my literature class. The answer is they're playing baseball, but the person above me got it first.
