I may have overcomplicated the design slightly.
So, Shainei's 'default', most comfortable form is the jackal, however, he (or she? Texa can pick the gender) can shapeshift into many other animals, like the bat, stork, and turtle shown. S/he is clever, a smart-alec, and enjoys collecting shiny things.
I used a style similar to Texa's, and I went for an Egyptian/North African vibe, since I was playing Plants v. Zombies 2 while coming up with him/her. X3 #Texacontest2 #jackal

Neat concept! Reminds me of the Native American stories of the trickster Coyote, and his ability to sometimes take different shapes.
