who told you that your OC was not original?
i seen OCs that had sonic style but with just different gloves and a belt
atleast you have some to make a different from sonic, you like blue? go ahead! like hedgehogs? sure, why not!
who cares who people say! i like his design and if you like him us him! no one can controls you what you draw
and ya i like his new design but it well be waird to draw a character that just changed :/
