Your composition is immaculate. You excel at portraying moody vistas and inventing unique creatures. The dreads and stance of the subject here remind me of Predator. I tried a fog effect with one of my earlier paintings, but it didn't come out nearly this good. Could you inform me as to how you achieved this effect?
Thank you ABdow uNite. Actually I reduced the airbrush opacity and used a bright color on a dark surface. I also more detailled and darkened the front elements of the fog like grass and plants.
Holy cow dude! How do you make all these amazing paintings? Seriously, saying you're amazing is an under-statement. You're paintings are so incredible!
RodoG, be a pal and comment using your 3DS, will ya. Can't see your comments unless online. I like the bioluminescence here, something I might add to my Dinos sequence, but more purple than aquamarine. Playbacks only tell so much, and where's the time? I'll get to it eventually. My effect is pretty good, I was just trying to give you a compliment. My flora isn't as lively, however, as that in this painting. That guy just looks so much like Predator. Would love to see some new work from ya. :) [BTW, I used the word vio-let instead of purple when trying to post this the first time, but it was censored. Why in the world would the word "vio-et" need to be censored? Crazy Colors.]
Abdow Unite, you can do whatever you want as long as you don't sell it. As for the rest, watching playbacks is my best advice to progress, so I hope you'll find the time.
Rodo, you needn't worry. Check out my gallery and I think you'll find that you are in good hands. And if you find the time to watch some of the playbacks of my paintings you may find some aspects of my method useful to your art as well (they'll also indicate things to avoid, obviously). ;) Also I have animations that require one to watch the playback (skip to a couple pixels from the end) in order to view them. I think Colors offers a richer landscape for animation than people realize. See ya 'round.
P.S.: When are you going to finish this here painting, for, though it looks quite good already, you've indicated that it's incomplete?
If you wish to do me the courtesy of responding within my own gallery, that would be most kind of you (you may also find a nod to your work within, because you, as well as me, arrived a bit late to the party, as they say, and could use a bit of a jumpstart).
Rodo, in that Ring painting you commented on I was doing some experimenting with the highlight layer. I overlayed it more than once, that's why it seemed a bit blurry. And you're right: I rely too much on the airbrush tool. I need to use all the tools.
On another note, I really appreciate your selection of follows and likes. Yours is the gallery I come to when I want to discover an amazing artist I never knew existed. How do you find them all? It's disappointing that artists of such fine quality are not more widely know throughout the community. I really appreciate that you take the time to find them so that I, and others, don't have to. You're the best!
Great painting, love the simplicity, mood and story. You are one of the few painters I really enjoy seeing the playback. Killing and creating ideas while painting. Fixing and repairing and exploring several ideas. Seeing you trying poses cor the main character made me smile, reminds me of my own struggles while painting.
Thank you for your comments :) I could not be more agree with you Klein, I think we share the same passion about art, and you deeply understand the importance of art process. Speaking of which, I did my black and white dog after I saw your art gallery ;)

Yo Rodo, would you mind if I did a painting like your cubical dog painting, black and white and all that, but with a catdragon instead of a dog?
