I Created Taiyo when i was fourteen, turning fifteen years old and now im nineteen, nearing twenty. so yeah. I'm not much of a teacher. ive tried teaching but it never goes well, but i can give you advice.
you're ** right? you have much time to practice animation. especially whenever flipnote comes out. Stay dedicated with what you want to do and draw draw draw. You have the same enthusiam as i did when i wanted to start animation. use that energy to fuel your imagination and inspiration. Its nice to get acknowledged and that motivates you. but dont let that be your ONLY source, otherwise it will be your fall, because there are times when you might not get any acknowledgement at when switching animation software. inspire yourself about what you and your work will become in the near future envision it in your head over and over until it becomes reality. The more you draw the better you get, Drawing is related to animation, the more you animate, the better you get in both. dont be afraid to attempt full figure images. Believe it or not, when i first started flipnote, i only drew stick figures and animated them, as i couldnt draw a solid pictures, they looked terrible until i started getting better. But the best way to better your animation is to watch real life movement. Dont be afraid to experiment either. Practice alwas make perfect.
