My favorite extant animal is the Orca. Honorable mention to the Peregrine Falcon. #wc175#Orca#Stilllife#TLOZ#WindwakerHD#Windwaker#Toonlink#cubist#abstract#lightrays#desk#Shadow#underwater#Bird#Peregrine

Thanks Phoenix, I tried for an abstract, linear-geometric cubist look. It was pretty fun painting this actually. The weekly challenge inspired the Orca, and the rest kind of followed.

Thanks all! :) PkmnHD has been liked, because I liked it. Has a cool fish eye perspective, and a neat theme park feeling. As for my favorite reptile, well it's sitting right there on the cover of that book. The Peregrine Falcon is my favorite extant reptile (according to the most widely accepted assessment at present time, all birds are descended from and are therefore themselves maniraptoran coelurosaurian tetanuran theropod saurischian dinosaurian archosaurian diapsid reptiles). My favorite extinct reptile is probably also a Dinosaur as Falco Peregrinus is, but I haven't decided which one. But I imagine you ment non-avian reptile. A herpete, and moreover one that is not extinct? Well modern day non-avian reptiles are a bit less exotic than the vast diversity of forms found during the Mesozoic, but if I had to choose I would probably choose the Tuatara, just because they are so rare. I happen to consider Gojira to be a radiated form of Tuatara rather than marine or land Iguana. That would just seem neater to me. What's your favorite non-avian reptile?

As monkfishes are clearly not reptiles, I would also ask which you prefer between the two MFL? Also, I have an improved version of this painting in my gallery. I messed up the 3D here a bit.
