xDDDDD ikr???xDDD I have earthbound on the wiiU.. AND ITS HILARIOUS!!xDDD this game's so weird! "evil guy started laughing hard!" "evil guy fell!" wtf??xDDDD there's also that shop called "drug shop"... DRUG SHOP??? that would explain all...xDDD Aawww... I love earthbound...xDD

To my knowlage, drug stores are a similar thing to pharmacies.

Played on an emulator ('cause us brits never saw the series apart from in SSB) and to this day it MOTHER 1 & 3 remain my favorite RPGs ever.

another good rpg series is the mario and luigi games :y

It´s a shame it never got an official release here in Europe before the Virtual Console release one or two months ago...
But I´ve heard not many people bought EarthBound when it first came out in the US anyway, so I guess it´d still be an obscure cult classic even in the US if it wasn´t for Smash Bros.

Even this game's marketing strategy felt like it was on ramblin' evil mushrooms. The games slogan was: "This game stinks". Most likely because it included scratch and sniff cards. Although it's a great game, (My favorite overall videogame) it didn't sell in America. It was 70ish US dollars, which is 10 dollars more expensive than a Wii U game. (The guide cost alot) But it was apparently selling amazingly in Japan. :l
