It's wierd what happened to the 6th doctor, I belive the then head of BBC 1 Michael Grade (who canceled Dr.Who), fierd Colin Baker, the actor who played the 6th doctor, because he thought he was an awful actor. It actually turned out that Baker at that time divorced and not long after, Bakers ex-wife moved in with Grade and so it accepted Baker was fired for personal reasons.
Baker isn't highly regared but he wasnt that bad, he just didn't have time to shine
