Lay it on me. by CrazyRiverOtter

When it comes to telling people what they are doing wrong, they will respond with "Ur just jealous," "U can't do any better," "You are just too stupid to get it."

Not me, baby. I think often my feedback is mostly just compliments. It makes me feel nice, yes, but it doesn't help me in the slightest. I wanna know what I'm doing wrong so I can fix it. As long as you are specific about what you think I'm doing wrong, I'll consider anything you say valid.

Well I guess you could focus more on your own content and less on complaining/mocking peoples choices (even though I agree with you on many of them).

Hmm...well, if there's anything for me to add, it would be that I'd like to see more variation and creativity in regards to backgrounds. Mostly, it seems your char pics are on very simple backgrounds, which might help see the character better, but a more complex, but subtle background would help increase the overall interest in the picture. It would be nice to get a sense of where the char is/likes to hang out from the background. On another note, I think that you should practice drawing your chars in different poses, since it's mostly characters standing up, with their arms in different poses.

You could work on the positions and profiles of the characters in your pics, so they aren't always facing directly towards the audience point of veiw. Also you could try experimenting with making your lines a little less bold (but that's just me)....

ALL UR ART SUX LOL
Nah, just kidding.
How you draw humans could use a little refining. Just stuff like hands and arms though, not hair and/or facial features.
You seem to draw animals very well, though.

I can understand why people get annoyed by random criticism. Most criticism you find isn't exactly constructive. In fact, almost all random criticism seems as if its basis is the critic's personal interest in expanding their own ego rather than their desire to help a future or current artist improve.
It's good to see that you're open to criticism, I respect that. You'll definitely improve because of it.
