He was sitting there, lounging about as usual. Dust had not settled anywhere nor did the water stop running. The few things he held precious were in silent harmony. He allowed his face to go slack and laid upside down on the carpet.
Peace.. until Gemini entered, that was.

He walked in with a slow pace and wings menacingly outstretched. Smiling.
Boss wondered for a dull moment as to why Gemini would be more strange than usual. It took him awhile to realize the two pale bodies underneath Gemini's wings.

"Oh, I'm so excited to have them here, aren't you?" He dragged his words out so much that it seemed like he was purposely faking it.
"Where did they come from?" was Boss's first question. Yeah, where the hay did they come from?

"Yes," he dragged the 's,' "They are a gift from the Maiden herself!" He ended it off with his signature high-pitched laugh.

"You're kidding, right? Why would she-"

"/She/ said it was an experiment," his smile turned into a wolfish grin, "and we're her guinea pigs!" He laughed some more with his head held high. The foals seemed to shrink under his stature.

Boss made a huge, audible sigh as he pondered what exactly was going to change with these foals under their care. They seemed to be siblings, judging from how alike they appeared and

"Damn they're hairy." They were /really/ hairy. He was fairly sure this wasn’t a foal thing. He had seen plenty of foals with normal amounts of fur, yeah, there were either genetic anomalies or foreigners. He cocked his head and studied them closer. The grayish one looked around with an apathetic expression while the purplish one stared at her hooves.
How odd of the Maiden to perform an experiment. Nevertheless, Boss knew that resistance was futile when it came to her. Now that he thought about it; his current occupation had left an outrageous amount of time to laze around in nothingness...

Gemini suddenly cut in, "Oh! You can be the daddy and I can be the mommy too!"
"But that would mean we'd have to be married." And Boss laughed.

"Oh, you know that isn't a requirement. They can just be our illegitimate children!" And he laughed some more as pulled in the filly and colt for a warm, but strange, embrace. Boss giggled with him, being one of few who shared his sense of humor.

Boss smiled as he could visibly see the foals squirm being so close to Gemini.
