This so simple but beautiful!

I know I sound like a broken record, but this is really simple beauty. I love the glow effect. : )

Vixa sighed, sitting in the empty dark room she called home for a few days now. There was nothing to do. No food to hunt, nobody to talk to. Nothing. She was hungry and thirsty and tired, but she couldnt sleep. She knew she only had a couple days left at most. Her energy was already depleating fast...

Vixa heard the noise and her ears stood straight. "Perhaps its just a wall cracking and a stone falling." She sighed, scratching patterns into the floor with a claw.

Vixa looked up, stunned. She looked hurt and angry, trying to light a fire on her tail, but on a small ember would reveal itself. Next to no energy. Cant even light a fire. "Leave me alone! I dont have anything!" She nearly cried, feeling threatened, angry and scared.

The fox untensed herself and frowned. "I... I came here with a group looking for my mate and, well, we got separated... I found my mate, but ran off and I've been here the whole time... Who are you?" She asked. "My name is Vixa."

"No, Despair isnt my mate, but I... I know him..." The small and thin fox shivered at the thought. "His name... Is Shadow. He's dark grey and a shapeshifter..."

Vixa wanted to defend him, but just sighed instead. "Then maybe we should get revenge?" She didnt know where the vile idea came from, but she didnt exactly regret it.

"Y-yeah... I suppose... But... I'm not sure I wanna be his mate anymore... I love him, sure, but I dont think he's done anything nice for me at all..." Her voice trembled and shook, then got stronger as she said, "He ran off without telling me and led me here to save him! I have no idea where I am, I'm a mess, I'm starving and parched and it feels like he doesnt give two s.hits! I feel so abandoned, like he thinks something else is more important then getting his mate, the last surviving fox, might I add, to safety! Might I add that I dont know whats so important, but I'm dying and he doesnt care at all!" She fumed, eyes glowing angrily. "So if he cant save me, I'm k.illing him and his Despair buddy. I might have to to survive. I'll even eat them if I have to..." She sighed. This was all too much for her.

Ahah no problem! You certainly deserve all of them (and more uwu)

"No, I cant just take it... We can split it, if you like. But if this is your last meal, then we have to move fast after this..." She said, leaning forward and biting off about half of the meat, pushing it back to Night. After swallowing, she grinned. "Thank you ever so much." After speaking, she drank about half of the water, again pushing it towards Night.

"Theres a room where Despair and Shadow were... I dont know whats in there, but we can go look, if you like." The fox nodded, feeling rejuvinated from the meal.

Nervousness tugged at her insides, but she smiled, sitting up and streatching. Her half of a tail started to wag a little bit. "Yes, lets go. Just follow me and keep your voice hushed." She said, padding out if the room and making a left, waiting for Night to follow.

"I was traveling with a group that wanted to rescue Shadow, like I did. Then we wound up here and we were separated..." She sighed, padding down the corridor cautiously. "What about you?" She asked Nightwing.

"And you got lost. I know. Dont worry, though, this place is a maze, really. I'm just following an earlier scent of mine." She admitted shily with a giggle.

Vixa smiled back widely. "Yes! I'm so grateful that I'm not alone anymore!" She turned down a hallway and looked to a door on her left. "Well, thats the room, I believe..." She said quietly.

"Then lets see what we can grab from in here," Vixa whispered to Night.

"Nope! Right is okay for me." Vixa spoke softly still, even though there seemed to be nobody around but them. A light green fire flared to life on her tail as a sense of security for the timid fox.
