There was legitimate romance going on between Link and Zelda in this game, and it was there just a tad in Spirit Tracks, too. In all other games, they're fated friends (or two-tome acquaintences, like in Twilight Princess), and the player can only fill the rest of the relationship with their imagination. That's what I think set Skyward Sword apart the most: the unique relationships between characters.

Awesome picture and the best Zelda game of all time!!! But it did only take about 15 years to better ocarina of time and windwaker, majoras mask, and twilight princess did come very close!! I loved playing this game, it was just so cute and fluffy and romance-y! My favorite would have to be Twilight Princess, but I know I make myself think I like this game more because of all the Zelink <3
