Last year I had a strict teacher who made us be quiet the whole class, yelled at people, always gave us homework, etc...

This year, I got a pretty mellow teacher. He doesn't mind us talking, he keeps the class fast-paced, teachs us actual things, doesn't give homework unless we don't finish a project, lets us talk, doesn't yell, etc...
