I mean really? Its never right to just take someone's art, erase the signature of the ORIGINAL artist, and then claim that its yours like, "OMG look how hard I worked on my art, hahaha!" Its sickening and it literally makes me hate how easily it is to steal someone's work on the internet. There's needs to be some type of better security or something...
Please my friends, if you've read this far into my somewhat long rant, I want you to do everyone a favor and not steal other's work. Just ask permission, or give them the credit that they rightfully deserve. It would really help and keep all the good artists from leaving Colors, and its drama like this how some people do leave... And if you absolutely wouldnt do something terrible like this, then do the right thing and report stolen work. It would really mean alot to the person who's art was stolen...

What I don't understand is why is it that only the original artist can report it?

welp for starters, im guilty of the fact that ive refrenced stuff and not given full-credit too the original... but, i myself realized the bad and wrongdoing in it... so i run a clean slate now..... So, for sure its terrible to steal someone elses art and claim it as their own... So really, just admit you didn't do any of your work and start working on your own style of drawing. Something people will appreciate you by... Thats my advice to the people who do, though, i dont know why i wrote on here cx Oh, and, my art's sho crappy no one would trace it anyways X'D

Yea, I agree! It's so obvious when there's a million pictures with different styles! When the stolen picture of pewdiepie was still on her gallery, I read comments that said stuff like "Wow, all your art's amazing! Herp derp!" And I'm like: wat. just wat. How could they not tell she stole them! QAQ She had a realistic eye picture, an anime picture, and a cartoon-y styled picture! Sure people have more than one style, but when they do, you can tell it was made by them! QnQ Did you see the picture she stole and named it fail? She said it was bad in the desc.! How rude! @SatharineSoup was the original artist, and she was offended. I bet most art thieves steal art because they don't know how to draw. Then they get jealous, and steal/ trace art. Why don't they actually try learning by looking at tutorials or something? Aack, I'm in my ranting mood. :S

I so totally agree!! We dont steal or copy from anyone so why should they and get more likes then us? Its just like stealing from a store. Id rather people dont steal your own work, speacially if its copyrighted like some of mine, but if they do GIVE the original owner/artest the credit. I mean come on, at least ask if its ok to copy it.

Sorry Im just upset cause I had my work stollen from me and I was the one who was blamed for stealing. Even though you could clearly tell by the dates and description my work was put up well before theirs was. *rant* ^_^
