Anyways this reaaaally isnt so bad:

It has no *d, but it costs ** less than a regular *ds. If you have a child who wants a *ds, not only is it cheaper, possibly more durable than a *ds due to the lack of a hinge,
but your not paying -40 bucks for a feature youd have to parental lock for a child seven-plus.
Its actually really smart, ugly as sh** but investors were actually really pleased.
TL;DR NO biggy, this console isnt made for most of us, just realize there are other people in the world besides yourself, haha.

bit more to add. the one downside is people arnt going to understand it plays 3DS games. the same kind of problem people have not understanding the 3DS is a next gen handheld seprete from the DS series

The lack of a hinge probably is so that it's easier to get caught at night XD I like that it has every feature of 3DS but 3D, but the lacked hinge and wierd button layout is gonna make me mad.

Hmm, it's an... interesting shape, but I'm kinda worried that Nintendo might be focussing on much younger players this year. The 2DS, combined with a fairly bland collection of games at E3, leaves me wondering if Nintendo isn't even trying to be the gamers' choice anymore.

By bland I mean a generic Mario game rather than a themed one like Galaxy or Sunshine, another Donkey Kong game from Retro Studios rather than Metroid. I guess I'll have to wait until next year to see if SSBB for WiiU/3DS and Monolith's X can prove me wrong.
