Well done! I see the spirit of the wolf in the bounding canter of this land-drake (meaning wingless, similar to Tolkien's use of cold-drake, meaning flame-less). Is that fur or proto-feather fuzz?
Sorry KJumper, I am ill equipped to provide tips or suggestions. Once my rendition of Smaug is complete perhaps it may provide you with inspiration. I have no formal training and can speak little to the technical aspects of drawing/painting. The only tip I could provide is to overlay a thin veil of anisotropic light grey in each layer to provide this piece with a greater sense of atmosphere. Any tips for me would be most appreciated as well.
Awesome work again! The only suggestion I would give is to draw lots of snow around the dragon's feet, to appear like it is being thrown off the ground as the dragon runs. I think that would give the painting a greater sense of intensity, and highlight the power of the dragon's speed :)
Wow...its...its... I have no words to describe that incredible painting. Your gallery is really good, original and creative. You are an awesome artist!
LOL, anyone reading this comment, because of my previous comment the "artist" of this picture apparently thought that because he was a fraud not giving credit to the orginal artist and i called him out on it, i was bein a dik. so he raged in my comments, it made me laugh
Just going to say it here as well so the above gets the hint, I wasn't raging man, it was sarcasm. I already know the dragon is a species that exists, it's called a Kilin, (as stated by several others above) and is from an art book. The main function of an art book is to do art from, and to teach art. yes, I used the species, but again in no means copied it. Also I'm a chick, not a dude. Don't go making enemies man, this isn't the place for it, this is a place for all sorts of artists be they Tracers or professionals to simply have fun. No hating involved.
