I think you should erase the stream...fill it in on a further back layer...dark...then put the highlights on the layer with the grass, under DK...thatll give the water dimentional depth....IMHO Just a suggestion...JH

You could also choose the 3rd tool down, size about one qtr up from lowest size, on lowest opacity, choose DKs light brown color and pull straight down from under him on the reflection layer... makes a nice trick reflection....! ;^)-
