Pokemon was an important part of my generation's formative years. We all loved it, even if we had a tendency to lose the toys and games our parents spent countless paychecks buying for us.
However, we will always remember the lessons of friendship, loyalty, doing your best, and overcoming failure that it taught us. Pokemon helped turn an entire generation of bratty kids into accepting, dependable adults who are ready to take on the world.
