A Pic of Jarik and me doing one of our favorite things, a Pokemon battle! Pokemon Red and Blue were the first game I personally owned and was genius in it's time. You could arrange a party any way you wanted, and any one type of Pokemon had varying stats for individuals. This is still more options than most RPG's give you for shaping your party.

Aah, Gold and Silver truly were great, they had that sense of history, and breeding, which I did alot of to try to get the perfect Wartortle(my all time favorite) In Silver I had Totodile, so cute. I spent hours on that link cable trading over all my pokemon to my sister, then starting over and trading them all back. That is a serious time commitment. :)

Back in the golden age of Pokemon, the original is still the best, though gold and silver were really close. I love the intro with Gengar and Nidorino fighting... Just like the first episode in the show! This pic reminds me of that
