As Tun Rae aged, he discovered a very strong penance for magic (outside his natural ability to healm incredibly fast). One of the skills he picked up was shapeshifting, and shapeshifting in various ways. With his pet Drakes as inspiration, he shapeshifted his tongue for a drake tongue, and for added intrigue, developed a second.
He found these tongues to be very useful in his favourite past time, and instead of changing sometimes, he kept the tongues as a permanent change.
He also learned to Gender shift sometime after, and is often found in her female tigress form. Because more people like bewbs, than what guys have to offer ;)

Shi sure can :3 There's much mor to Tun's story than I've even hinted at. Betrayal, Love, Loss, Death of close ones, Reunification, Desertion, Hatred, Near-death experience, Ascention(sp?), growth, change, secrets, responsibility, ownership, power. It's a long one. And if I can actually write, I'd love to fill some books with Hir stories, as well as those around hir.
