Blu-Ray, as in a ray-gun like Cortex has. He expected there to be a Supermodel Mode ('Monster Truck' reference), and zapped himself - and turned into a better quality version of himself, as well as becoming blue. There IS an antidote for it, but since Cortex is mad with N. Gin, he's not gonna give him any. xDD

I had another idea for why N-Gin looks differently, but this - of course - is a more humerous version. xDD
