@cd-seay So the reason I didn't add blackwashing is because a lot of the time it's compared to whitewashing in terms of severity but then when you look at the intent whitewashing is always out of r4cism but blackwashing is intended to fill in the gaps where black people are being erased (notice how biracial and lightskin black people are given roles meant for black people) there is little to any good representation for black people with darker skin right now-

mind you a lot of the roles acted out by white actors race has no affect on the story I do think some roles should be played by people of that culture the new lilo and stitch is a prime example of how whitewashing is alive and well them being Hawaiian was an important part of the story ariels race had no bearing whatsoever on her story plus moanas actor played her in the musical and no one complained so to me blackwashing isn't a big issue like it's being made out to be lmk yoyr thoughts though
