ummm.. a lazy mock up I guess.
Earthbound-y craziness up in this one. Idk. I just come up with ideas. Maybe in 500 years I'll take the first step in trying to make them a reality. Or, you know, maybe in video game design class starting soon. Maybe. I don't like saying I'll make something that I'm not to sure I'll ever start.

I'll throw around a few of my dumb ideas here. Blue guy is the party leader, he has a party hat. Ha. Skeletom guy won't join your party until you write him an invitation. Ha. Jester guy hates clowns. Ha. Ghost guy is afraid of baseball players. Oh, references, how clever. Toaster stuns your party for a turn when it springs, which is every five turns (big attack, set, wait, wait, spring). Ha. Can't you see that this is just oozing with hilarious jokes and references? Oh boy.

The only real reference is the ghost guy's fear of baseball players, referencing "OFF", a small indie rpg in which the protagonist "the batter" has to purify the world, many enemies being ghosts or souls of some kind. The other "reference" is the party hat and invitation, which isn't a reference to anything but the fact that the groups in an rpg are always referred to as a "party" which could be used with a different definition.
I really liked "OFF", maybe a short level that imitates the style of the game would also be kind of neat.
