ccbunni- obviously you've never spent time with these beautiful creatures. horses are friends and family and much more than 'transportation.' and as for 'glue,' >:( horses should NEVER have been used as glue!
sorry about the little rant laser. i just couldn't stand that comment. Anyways, i must get to the point of commenting now XD This is fantastic! Spirit looks so happy and free!

I agree with you both, Laser and Wi. That comment is untrue and very irritating to horse lovers like us. It is very common to form a close bond with a horse, even if it's not yours (like Wild Fire and I did with a gelding who unfortunately was put to sleep earlier this summer). As for glue, that is just a horrible thought. No living creature deserves to be k.illed for a purpose such as glue! I'd say more, but Wild Fire pretty much summed it up, and I don't want to just repeat what she said.
Anywho, I love this painting, Laser! Spirit looks so happy, and the background is beautiful! Nice work :D
