I found out about the "no imagination" claim when I was reading a book on autism. D: Some of the autism books I've read have said derogatory things about autistic people(it sounded like they were insulting them at times). Also in one of the books, there was a poem that was written by a neurotypical child that basically said she had an autistic cousin, and none of her relatives saw the autism as a problem, but she saw it as a bad thing because the cousin would ignore her and fidget with toys instead of paying attention to her. I thought it was a bizarre poem...
