lucario is awesome, yes, but he has waaaaaaayyy too much weaknesses. for instance. fire, fighting, ground, and psycic. fire is way too common, if not then fighting, if not psycic or steel. there are a ton of pokemon that can learn moves like flame charge or earthquake or psycic or focus blast too.

SafariFox: He's not particularly weak against psycic because his steal type gives him some resistance, and it's not like other Pokemon don't have a ton of weaknesses. Besides, Lucario's biggest strength is that he hits fast and hits hard.

The way I see it, the easiest way to win is with either a fast, hard-hitting Fighting-type like Lucario or Mienshao, or use fast Fire-types while trying to avoid Empoleon's strong Water-type moves. Or use Rotom. XD

Of course, haven't forgotten Lucario is your best Pokemon.
