guess what??? i went walking in wooldale and saw 2 fields full of horses! we spent 40 minutes stroking them and giving them grass- they were grazing anyway but they liked the attention. there were a few foals around- the oldest one i could c was a beautiful bay w/ a pretty blaze. i think he was a colt... the youngest was a chestnut only a couple of weeks old by looks of things. there was a very greedy grey pony- old but hungry 4 attention! i was giving a palomino some grass and the greedy grey snatched it out my hand!

how did u know it was old u can only really tell by looking at its teeth. u need 2 be careful hand feeding grass 2 them it might give them bad colic
