Your skills are not slipping Shannon! You merely have a lot on your plate, as to be expected, especially with school! It indirectly affects your attitude towards yournart... even though it seems suttle. Your art is just as perfect as it always is. <3

Yeah...It's not a fun feeling at all...I've kind of gone numb at this point. I used to be great at helping others now I'm like....

And by hacked I mean my computer itself. Not my dA account. (Though that could be as well soon...) My computer's antivirus software (XD) Was disabled by a trojan or a virus. So yup no more tablet for me. *Flips table*

I know idzactly you feel about your art. Idzactly. But the fact that your not as good as someone else doesn't mean that your losing your talent for art. It just means that they are alittle more advanced then you are. Besides, people would ki'll to have skills like your's, and you are so gifted and alot better then other artists your age, like myself! I'm your age and I'm not half as good at drawing as you or Dragoness or Bluejay or Vacrah and many, many other artists around my own age ( and I'm not saying that just to make you feel better )! But some people just take longer to advance in art then others. Your talented and gifted and blessed with such creative abilitys, and the more you draw, the better you will become. All you need to do is give your skills some time.

And if you think some people are better than you...even at a younger age...well, everyone improves at their own pace. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Personally, you're still one of my favprite artists here and I get alot of inspiration from you.
And about your computer being hacked...dayum that sucks. My dad does a virus scan like every week but for a reason apparently. Least you have a deviantart in the first place...I'm not allowed to get one :[

I agree with many of these comments. Your skills aren't slipping; They're improving! You are a colors! legend as far as i'm concerned. Everything you draw is so unique, and you can tell you put effort into it. Your wolf and cat style is really cool, and your shading techniques are simple yet effective. You have so much talent!

This isn't slipping. You've just got a lot in your mind, that's all. I know the feeling of thinking your skill's gone down, but trust me, you are simply improving incognito! c; I wish I could draw animals like you, Shan. So stop improving already, that way I can catch up to you!
