I think about this a lot with lots of people's art. It's funny because we all start the same, drawing big eyed disproportional people. But as we develop our art, though it retains some features of the old, it brings in your own personal style, aswell as various techniques for professional art. In short I think it's not anime as much as it is your own personally developed style that comes from anime roots o v o

i'm trying to work away from anime and get into a more "normal" style that is my own and unique.

Actually, your art is anime styled. But it has a hint of originality and stuff.
