Brewster has actually been my absolute favourite main character on Animal Crossing, and The Roost my favorite place to be, since Wild World, so when a part-time job option was suddenly introduced to me one day, I was completely ecstatic.
I reeeeeeally want to work enough for him to give me my uniform to wear all the time...
and all of the Brewsteroids eve

Also, I've had a weird fascination about servants/maids/etc since elementary school...
I even want to someday be a butler-type chica to a popular creator...

I'm up for an Animal Crossing Role-Play, if anyone is willing to join.
But this will first take place in my town's Roost.

Robin: *working part-time in the later evening/early night*

Aislyn: *walks into The Roost* *groans* Being mayor can be quite annoying... *takes off glasses to clean them*

Robin: *looks up*

What type of coffee would you like?

Aislyn: Mocha, no milk, no sugar, please. *coughs* *looking around*

Robin: Okay!
*whips out coffee cup and pours the coffee into it*
That'll be 200 bells...

Aislyn: *pulls out 200 and hands it to Robin* Thank you.

Robin: No problem.
*puts the Bells away, places the cup on a platter, and slides it towards you*
I was told... the perfect temperature to draw out this cup's flavor... is 172.6 degrees...

Aislyn: And at that I will! *smirks and drinks from cup* *rests elbow on the counter* I would love to know, what is your job here like?

Robin: *suprised*
My job here? Well, I love giving people what they want, and this cafe is so nice and peaceful...
It's a very good job, and Brewster-sama is nice to me...

[The truth is, Brewster-sama is worried that Robin's skills will surpass his own, so it's kind of a King Saul/David conflict...
Only Brewster doesn't want Robin dead :T ]

Robin: Do you have a job?
Miss... um...

Aislyn: Oh! My name is Aislyn. I should've said my name sooner. And, yes, I do have a job. I'm the mayor of Gametown. I'm out of town for the night. I really hate it sometimes. *blows hair out of face*

Robin: ...is it a bad job?

Cup of blood please. I don't care who's, but add two teaspoons of sugar.

Aislyn: ...Not really... I mean, it does get annoying with constant requests from townspeople. But other than that, it's fine.

Honestly, this town's pretty peaceful, so requests are not commmon.

[omg I just had a slight panic attack. I think I friended you through AC:NL omggggggggggg. I saw a reply to a Swapnote I got and I'm like, "I know that handwriting!". So then I check the FCs and THEY MATCH UP OMG. ahahaha i'm so dumb sometimes]

Aislyn: Is that so? No conflicts between villagers? No rumors? That's very common coming from Gametown.

Robin: Nope. In Flipside, everyone helps each other.
The only rumours are nice, conflicts are settled quickly, and everyone rushes to donate to PWP'S...
Pretty peaceful.
The worst part is visitors that come from less peaceful cities...

Robin: Anchovy? Why, I think he was just dress-shopping a moment ago...

Aislyn: Okay. Thanks. I heard others calling him lazy, earlier. I'll have to inform him if he doesn't know about these rumors.

Robin: ...well, why should he know? If he doesn't know that others thing badly of him, then he won't become self-consious and stressed.

Aislyn: ...Good point. *yawns and stretches*

Robin: *tilts head*
...Are you alright? ...If you're tired, I can ask Brewster-sempai to whip up one of his high-caffeine specials...

Aislyn: No, thank you. I'm just a little tired from changing my town ordinance.

Robin: Oh? To what?

Aislyn: Early-Bird. It's a big change considering it was on Night-Owl.

Robin: Heh... our mayor both created and enacted a "Keep Flipside Beautiful" ordinance, so I wouldn't be able to understand your time ordinances...
[She doesn't like telling foreigners that she's the mayor...]

Aislyn: ...I should try that sometime. It is really hard keeping all of my flowers alive. Bamboo is starting to over-run my town. I'm way too lazy to do anything about it.

Robin: Bamboo? What's that?
[No one ever told me, and Robin's never seen it]

Aislyn: Well... ...It's basically a tree, but it doesn't have a purpose. You can't catch bugs, and nothing happens when you shake it. It's like a giant, fake flower.

Robin: ...huh.
Well, then chop them down!
I have spare axes for perfect trees...
