thats so beautiful! how'd u do the feathers?

I drew the basic shape, then drew the outline of the feathers with a darker shade, then highlighted with a slightly lighter shade, and put an even lighter shade on that. You draw the neck feathers almost like scales, but smaller and in im-perfect, up-side down arcs.
The most important thing is highlighting it right
