I find that uncooked or half-cooked ramen noodles are way to doughy and bitter for my tastes, though I absolutely love ramen noodles. As for your question on what I am looking for in a character for "Phantom in the Summer" : absolutely anything. Do whatever type of character you wish, though I personally think that it is sometimes way more fun just to create an entirely new character as it opens up a lot of new possibilities. Also keep in mind is how does the character tie-in with the others and the story: is she or he a close family member or friend of one of the others, are they meeting for the first time, are they co-workers cast into the same dire situation, the possibilities are endless.
