Shinai:*is in a deep dark forest* *her markings and eyes blazing w blue fire* -shinai leaps into the air so then barrels down on the tree infront of her pretending its a badger- you'll pay for wut u did! -she yowled and the sliced a gap in the tree w her saber that she clenched between her jaws-

Shinai:-leaps forward and slashes her claws down the tree only to snag one- stupid badgers! -she hissed and licked her injured paw*

shinai tripped and fell to the ground,renching her hind leg.she hissed in pain and anger of her clumsyness."uhh..sorry..."she heaved herself to her paws just as the tree fell a tail lenghth from them.

-in her flashback- shinai wailed in terror as badgers came crashing down to their home. her mother and father huddled around their kit protectively.suddenly a massive black paw ripped through the branches of the den and crashed through.her father shoved her into a gap in the rocks and quickly mewed a couple of words."we love you very much shinai,don't ever forget that.but it is time for us to take a jounery.you'll see us again very soon.i need you to be very brave.."the badger clamped his jaws around her father's neck."good...bye...shi..na..i..."was his last words.the badger through him to the ground d.ead.then another one came boring down on shinai's mother a few fox lenghts away.shinai despratly tried to squeeze deeper into the gap as an ear splitting screech split the air.shinai shut her eyes to get rid of the vision.she opened her eyes to the real world again."no!" she screamed.heart pounding,she fell to the ground.....

shinai twitched her nose and opened her eyes.everything was blured and black shapes were moving around.she saw a figure staring down at her as he prodded her cheek again."badgers..."she gasped half concious."badgers everywhere!...."

shinai's heart started to pound again."they.. they k.illed my family..."she wimperd."moons ago.. a hurd of bl.ood thirsty badgers came boring down on our home... i was just a kit.."she relived the memory.

shinai pressed close to him trembling."i-it was all so scary..."she whisperd.

shinai forced herself to stop trembling. she thought of something to get her mind off of it."do you want to go hunting?"she asked calmly

And I wanted to mention that someone on devianart already made a species called nebelfuchs (mistfoxes) with pretty much the same concept.

"ok.." shinai and autumn both padded off into the forest together.their pelts slightly brushing eachothers."i hear something.."she whisperd and very slowly started to creep over to the bush she had heard it in.

shinai got close enough to get a clear view of the prey."rabbit."she said swiping her tounge around her lips.

shinai pounced on the plump rabbit and quickly k.illed it with a swift bite to the neck.pleased with her catch,she padded back to the middle to burry it.

just then her ears pr'icked and in instinct her neckfur rose.an unwelcoming scent slamed into her as a massive black and white creature loomed over her.another vision overtook her.she was back in the hollow with screeching cats all around her.her father was taken by the badger.she suddenly reconized a sc.ar on the badgers eye.the vision was gone.suddenly she reconized this badger.clamping her saber between her jaws,she yowled."you k'illed my father!"and hurled herself at the badger...

shinai managed to slice the badger's snout and gave it a good bite to the tail.the badger howled in agony but thrust both foxes off of it in a mighty effort.shinai lay on the ground stuned for a moment."r u ok?"autumn asked as he nosed her to her feet again she noticed that he wasn't wearing his mask.bright eyes met hers and she stood their overwhelmed for a few heartbeats
