Clair-obscur by Superhero

I started out with a reference picture of Erika Linder (if I could genderbend like her o_o) and then I kept making it more and more baroque portrait style. Also, brush number 3 is now my favourite one. (will we ever get more brushes?!) QUESTION for all of you: Is there a difference in creating on aregular 3ds compared to a 3ds xl? I use the regular one but the screen is frustratingly small ):

Even if the screen is frustratingly small, you still manage to paint with incredible detail. Great portrait work again, you're a pro! :)

3DS XL has more real estate, but I don't think it makes much difference in the pictures (probably because you can zoom in on Colors to put in detail). c:

This is a excellent picture. Btw,, do you take requests or art trades?

Love your detail and your use of lights and darks!

Thank you all!

Qwertydog I see... so its propably better to invest in a tablet. Before colors Ive never tried to work in any artprogram or on any tablet. But Ive really gotten very fond of it. Its way quicker and less complicated as oilcolor.
FlamePrincess: I might if it sounds interesting :) But I do like requests even if I hardly ever get any.

Okay! Tell me if this sounds interesting. Maybe you could draw Flame Princess and another Adventure Time character that you can choose? I'd really love to see what you can do with them!

Well... i bought the xl directly so i hadn´t the opportunity to test the normal so the only thing i can say is that you probably not need to zoom unzoom so many times with a xl

Also you can see better in the up screen the details but at the time to draw this don´t matters a lot i think because you can test the details very good on a normal down screen just zooming

XL maybe can save you time (not my case XD) but the quality of the piece don´t should change :)

Wow, this is epic!! All your work is :o
This strangely reminds me of genderbend Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock... a bit :D
