Honestly, the best thing to do here is nothing. If you do nothing you get contact with your crush or whatever, but keep your friend. If they ever stop liking eachother he might be your first choice.

Just don't do anything, don't even react. Pretend everything's fine because what you want would make two people you care about miserable.
