hi, I saw your comment on Nothing-Important page and thought to help you out ^-^
Backgrounds: They hold a major part in a painting as much as the image or character seen in it. Depending where the character position is in the painting plays a big part on what background you should use and how much of it. If a character is seen mostly in front of the painting, then its likely to use a more settle non-detailed background because if you make it too detailed, it takes away from what you want people to focus on. :)

I looked through your gallery and saw great paintings that should be in weeks best, keep up the great work ^-^
