Ah, the annoyance that is feathery wings! Maybe you should check out some tutorials on how to simplify the process? There are plenty of ''cheats'' when it comes to wings! http://wikihow.com/draw-angel-wings is a good example.
And while you shouldn't be discouraged by one failed drawing, don't let the as.s-kissers convince you this isn't bad - It's pretty, but that doesn't make it GOOD (''no matter how much you polish a turd, it's still a turd'' as the saying goes).
