does Sketching count as tracing? i just like sketching.

Sketching is sketching, it's a completely different to tracing, sketching is making a layout for an art piece and is used as an advanced guideline, artwork based around sketches is also a work of art, Tracing is copying a picture/artwork, normally tracing is used to get a feel on how things are done, BUT, traced work should not be uploaded online as it is Art Theft, but if someone were to say in description that it was traced and credit the original artist, you'd get away with just a slap on the wrist, so all in all, sketching is completely fine.
