& I mean I don't think I'm 'bad'. Honestly, the two recent paintings I posted are the only ones I'm actually proud of. Sort of. But everyone has their own style. I'm pretty sure I'm not better than your brother. xD

NEVER give up on art! If it's something
you've got passion for and you find
yourself always thinking about it
nonstop, then it's definately something
you should pursue. I thought
about giving up before. People
would put me down, make fun, or
even say art will get no one anywhere..
That's NOT true. The only way
for that to be true is if one squander's
it. Doesn't finish schooling, makes
the wrong decisions. Only ignorant
people go down that road willingly. Here's my advice now:
-NEVER give up art. Even if it turns out not to be your career. Back up plans are always good.
- Fk the ppl who put you down. You know who you are and your goals and your talents. Not them. Don't let anyone take away your courage.
-Practice, practice, practice. The only way to get better is through, in all seriousness, blood sweat and tears. If you love art as much as me, you'll find away at all costs do do this.
- Research different styles other than cartoon and anime. Sure I like drawing anime n' stuff, but that's not the only type of art. Try to gain new views and respect for different types of art. You'll be glad you did :)
- Practice different styles, expand your interests in art too.

I'm only 17 and I know I may sound really mean sometimes.. But I seriously hope I helped. I don't wanna see another, fellow aspiring artist simply turns heads and give up on art..

@Symphonic I'm not going to lie: I had to follow you after reading that paragraph. That was really cool. And only 17? Hopefully I'll be on your level in a year.
