As the team entered the village via the West Gate, they saw an explosion and heard someone shout "Mobs have broken through the East Gate!" They watched as what seemed like an endless amount of mobs streamed through the hole in the wall. There were zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders and to everyone's surprise, several Wither Skeletons.
"We've gotta help!" Fantasy exclaimed, bringing out her iron sword. "We're right behind you!" Carina told her, sword in hand. The others brought out their wepons too. "Let's do dis!" Viper added. With Fantasy in the lead, they charged straight into the fight between the mobs and the people of Witherville.

Jake climbed up onto a roof and began sniping using his bow and arrows. He took out several skeletons who were sniping also. He then shot a creeper causing it to explode and kill a dozen mobs around it.
Viper and Fantasy stood back to back, wepons at the ready, before charging in opposite directions, killing mobs left right and centre.
Carina was engaged in a deadly duel with one of the wither skeletons and she was finding it difficult to land a hit.
After taking out several mobs around him, Gabe realised he had a splash potion. "Carina! I have a S P!" he told her "What kind?" she asked, ducking under the wither's swinging sword "It'll give you a jump boost!" he answered "Sounds--Good!" she replied, attacking her opponent. "Think fast!" Gabe exclaimed, throwing the potion to her, which broke and came into effect on contact. The wither tried a low sweep with it's sword. Carina jumped to dodge it. But instead of jumping the normal boost of two blocks, she jumped four!

Landing off balance, she said "Gabe! That's one s.crewed up potion! I jumped FOUR blocks not two!" "You did?! I don't know, maybe it's extra enchanted or something" he replied, killing two zombies with one swing of his sword. "Well, time to put it to good use!" she exclaimed. As the wither skeleton attacked again, Carina jumped up and flipped over the wither. While in mid air, she threw her sword into it's head. As the skeleton hit the ground, she landed beside it and pulled her sword out from it's skull. Carina suddenly heard Jake shouting "That wad awesome! Do it again!". And so she did.
But unknown to Carina was that it wasn't just her friends who'd witnessed the amazing act. High above the village, Herobrine watched the raging battle below..

The onslaughtof mobs soon ceased. The people had won, but at a cost. The village was badly damaged and over a dozen had been injured or killed. There were barely any people or villagers left. Most had fled after the first explosion.
The gang re-grouped near the tower. "Is everyone alright?" Fantasy asked "Yeah, we're fine" Gabe answered "Now that was a lot of mobs" Viper put in "Yeah but wither skeletons? Here? I don't get it" Carina said shaking her head "Speaking of withers, I saw what you did! That was amazing!" Jake exclaimed, punching the air.
Suddenly a voice that sent shivers down their spines and struck fear into their hearts, said "Indeed it was. I've got to admit, I'm impressed". The team turned to see Herobrine standing a few blocks away, his eyes glowing brightly.

"You've done well making it this far. But that said, it was only mere luck that got you here" he paused as he rose up of the ground "But unfortunenatly for you, your luck has just run out!" Herobrine continued as an evil smile crept across his face.
Suddenly a hope shattering screech echoed throughot the remains of the village and then, to everyone's horror, the dreaded Wither Boss appeared over Witherville.
Herobrine rose higher and was soon level with the wither. "Finish the job" he commanded before disappearing into thin air..

The wither's attacks rained down on the village causing explosions and setting everything on fire. It began targeting the tower. Jake shot several arrows at it, but only one or two did damage. The wither boss attacked. The explosion sent the team crashing to the ground. Viper Jake and Gabe were knocked out instantly. Fantasy lay on the ground, her hand outstreached "No! Not the tower..." she blacked out. The last thing Carina saw before the darkness took over,was the tower collapsing.
Witherville was lost
